How Did You Discover About The CSIR NET?

I belong to Bhagalpur, Bihar and did my bachelors in Pamjas College at Delhi University. I am currently pursuing my master's at IIT Delhi. I started my preparation for the CSIR NET Exam in June 2021 in the fifth Semester of my bachelor's. Back in the time, I was pursuing my bachelor's, I came to know about the CSIR NET Exam and the requirements that an aspirant has to put up to prepare themselves for the exam. I consulted my seniors regarding the information on this exam, went through all the previous year's question papers and started my preparation for this exam.

When Did You Start Full Fledge Preparation For The CSIR NET Exam June 2021

Talking about the full-fledged preparation, I started my full-fledged preparation for the CSIR NET June 2021 Exam back in 2020. I once applied for the CSIR NET Exam and once I got my results, I analysed the mistakes that I committed in my exams, along with it, I also analysed my strength that I could use to clarify the examination. Since then I started my full-fledged preparation for the CSIR NET June 202 Examination.

Can You List A Few Challenges That You Faced While Preparing For The CSIR NET Exam 2021?

There were a lot of difficulties and challenges that I faced while preparing for the CSIR NET June 2021 Examination. I have given several national level examinations while I was pursuing my bachelor's. As mentioned before, I have also attempted for the CSIR NET Exam before and I analysed my weakness from all the exams I have applied for in the meanwhile of my studies. Analysation and turning my weakness into strengths was one of the major tasks in my whole preparation Journey.

What Were The Strategies That You Followed While Preparing For The Examination?

Analysation of my mistakes in the previous exams, Shortlisting the topics according to my preparation, Preacticising the topics repetitively, and Practicing the previous year's question paper and all the questions available were some of the major things that I focused on while preparing for the CSIR NET Exam June 2021.

What Are the Few Topics That You Found Most Challenging While Preparing For The CSIR NET June 2021 Exam?

The Physical Portion of the Subject was a bit challenging for me. I feel like I wasn't approaching the subject in the way it needed to be approached. Quantum Chemistry, Basic Quantum, Advanced Quantum then related to quantum Statistical Thermodynamics. I shortlisted all such topics that I found difficult and started preparing them one by one in a detailed manner. These were the topics that I didn't study from any kind of short notes but prepared in a slow and concrete manner.

How Did You Come Across The BYJU'S Exam Prep During Your Preparation?

I came to know about The BYJU'S Exam Prep through an online platform. I did my research and participated in the scholarship test. I secured the top 4 ranks and got access to the test series and the live classes of the BYJU'S Exam Prep.

I found the access to the previous year's question paper the most amusing part of the BYJU'S Exam Prep App. The aspirants can attempt the full 3-hour test and can also get to know their score and performance in the exam. Based on these, I rectified all my mistakes and got the correct solutions of the questions I found difficult. The mock tests are also one of the things here, that helped me a lot in my preparation.

The one thing that I relied on here is the short notes. I used to have short notes in a summarised way for every topic that I prepared. This saved me from going back to the long topics of the book whenever I needed to revise anything. Before attempting the mock tests I used to go through the short notes that i prepared.
