The percentage of students who pass practically all exams in India 33 percent in all reputable schools. Therefore, we can quickly get the passing score out of 35. Simple percentage calculations, such as (33/100)*35, are used to execute this. Thus, the result is 11.55. The passing score, then, is 11.55 out of 35.

A score of at least 33 percent is required by CBSE in order for students to pass any topic in the board exam. Candidates must also achieve an aggregate score of at least 33 percent in order to pass the board exam. The additional exam will be required of candidates who earned 33 percent or higher overall but less than 33 in any topic.
So, let’s say a kid has a 40 percent overall grade but a 31 percent in chemistry. He did poorly in chemistry but nonetheless passed the CBSE class 12 in general. They will therefore need to retake the Chemistry supplement exam.
