Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. Islamabad is the most organized city in Pakistan. Islamabad is a much cleaner and more modern city compared to other cities in Pakistan. The city is divided into different regions and is a very organized place.

Islamabad was built as the capital of Pakistan in the 1960s to replace Karachi as the capital city. The reason for shifting the capital from Karachi to Islamabad was for the betterment of the development of the country. Islamabad, on the contrary, was in a safe position, surrounded by mountains. In addition, the climate in Islamabad was far better than in Karachi. Islamabad has a population of 1.43 million according to 2016 data. The area is 906.5 square kilometres. Islamabad is home to many immigrants from other parts of Pakistan and has cultural and religious diversity. Islamabad is considered to be a tourist destination also and consists of a huge list to visit in Islamabad i.e., Faisal Mosque, Lok Virsa Museum and Rawal Lake. Faisal Mosque is considered to be the largest mosque in Asia located in Islamabad.
