Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan publishes the official notices for the Principal, Vice-Principal, Post Graduate Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher, and Primary Teacher separately on its official website. KVS Exam is conducted for three different posts i.e., PGT, TGT and PRT and the syllabus for all three posts is different. KVS PGT, TGT & PRT Syllabus Weightage
The KVS exam pattern is important to understand before starting your preparation for the syllabus. Candidates should know the paper pattern to have the framework within which to prepare for the exam. We have discussed KVS PGT, TGT & PRT exam pattern below for candidates to check out.
- There will be one paper for each post consisting of 4 parts (Part A consist of language proficiency, Part B consists of General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability & Computer Literacy. Part C, Perspectives on Education & Leadership subject is included and Part D consists of the Subject concerned.
- Questions will be objective-type in nature.
- The mode of the examination will be Online (CBT) mode.
- There will be 100 questions in total.
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer.
- The KVS Recruitment examination total marks are 180 for PGT, TGT & PRT Post.
- The total duration of the exam is 3 hours i.e., 180 Minutes.
