Odisha High Court Recruitment 2022 will be conducted in three stages:

  •  Preliminary Examination.
  •  Main Examination
  •  Interview.

Odisha High Court Preliminary Exam Pattern 2022

The Preliminary Exam Pattern will be 100 marks and will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. One-fourth of a point is deducted for each wrong response. The exam consists of 100 questions. There are 100 questions on the exam, with a total mark of 100. One mark is awarded for each question.

  1. A candidate must achieve the required number of marks in the preliminary exam to be qualified for the main examination.

Odisha High Court Mains Exam Pattern 2022

The main exam consists of two compulsory papers and three optional papers. The exam patterns for both compulsory and optional examinations are listed here. Both Paper I and Paper II are worth 150 marks each. Both Paper I and Paper II are 2 hours and 30 minutes long. There will be two passages: one in English that will be translated into Odia and one in Odia that will be retranslated into English.

  1. Applicants must select three subjects from a list of options.
  2. Each subject is for 150 marks and will take you 3 hours to finish.

The candidate must meet a minimum qualifying score to be considered for the interview. Applicants will be invited to an interview if they achieve a 45 % total score and a minimum of 33 percent on each of the main written examination papers.

Odisha High Court Exam Interview 2022

Students who pass the main exam will be called to an interview, which will be worth 100 marks. The interviewer will ask questions from the syllabus for the main exam. During the interview, topics about national and international issues, as well as items of common interest in the arts and sciences, may be asked.

Odisha High Court Exam Verification of Documents 2022

Before participating in the interview process, candidates must present original papers. Candidates who do not submit the necessary documentation will not be considered for an interview. The following are the documents that must be submitted by candidates.

  • HSC or similar certificate.
  • Certificate of completion of 10+2 or an equivalent degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law certificate.
  • Mark sheet of LLB examination.
  • Copy of the original challan for the examination fees.
  • Certificate of completion of the Odia test from high school.
  • If applicable, a certificate of experience.
  • Character certificate from the university's principal/professor.
  • Disability certificate for PwD candidates.
  • Two passport-size photos were taken recently.

Odisha High Court Civil Judge Exam Syllabus 2022

The Odisha High Court conducts the judicial service examination every year for the hiring of Civil Judges. The recruitment system to the Civil Judge cadre will take place by the Odisha Judicial Service Exam, which consists of three stages: a Preliminary examination, the main examination, and an Interview, all of which will be conducted in accordance with the rules and the syllabus described below.

Odisha High Court Main Exam Syllabus 2022

The main examination will consist of two compulsory papers and three optional papers listed below. Each required topic will be for 150 marks and it will last 2.5 hours, while each optional subject will be for 150 marks and will last three hours

The Two compulsory papers consist of Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Syllabus of both papers is given below

Odisha High Court Exam Interview 2022

The interview will be for 100 marks. The interview questions may not be typical and may fall outside of the syllabus for the main examination. Questions about both National and International issues, as well as things of common interest in the fields of arts and science, maybe posed during the discussion. Given that the names of the candidates will not be included with the merit list unless they receive at least 40% of the marks in the interview.
