India Post GDS Recruitment 2022 Notification out for 38926 vacancies by India Post Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, GoI. A good opportunity has been notified by the India Post for recruitment of Gramin Dak Sewak all over India to appoint candidates for the post of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. 

Any candidate who has passed class 10 with an age of more than 18 years can apply for India Post GDS recruitment. Steps to Apply Online for India Post GDS Recruitment 2022

Step 1: Visit the official website of Gramin Dak Sevak.

Step 2: Click on the link shown on the home page for the online application.

Step 3: Register yourself to obtain the registration number.

Step 4: Fill up the correct details as per the class X certificate.

Step 5: Save your details

Step 6: To submit your application, click on the login button.

Step 7: Upload the scanned documents in the mentioned dimensions.

Step 8: Submit the application and take a print.

Step 9: Pay the application fee online at the identified post office in the circle.

Application Fee for GDS Recruitment

To pay the application, candidates need to visit any identified Post Offices in the circle where online notification is current to make the payment.

The eligibility criteria for India Post GDS Recruitment 2022 is as follows:

Age Limit: the minimum age of the candidate applying for the post should not be less than 18 years. The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 40 years as on 27th January 2022.

Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification required for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak is 10^th Standard from the approved state/central govt. GDS qualification is important. Candidates who have cleared the class 10^th examination in the first attempt will be considered eligible. No weightage will be given to the candidates possessing any GDS qualification higher than the mandatory qualification.

Computer Knowledge: The candidate who wishes to be a part of the Indian Post should have computer knowledge and should have a basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute.

Knowledge of Cycling: Candidates should know about cycling for all the GDS posts.

Language of Local Knowledge: Candidates should have studied the local language of the state, i.e. up to 10th standard.

• The selection of the candidates will completely be based on the merit list prepared on the marks obtained in class 10^th.
• In case of same marks obtained by the candidates, then the selection will be based on DOB (higher age as merit), ST female, SC female, OBC female, UR female, ST Male, SC Male, OBC male, UR male.

Security Deposit

The candidate applying for the post shall note that he/she shall furnish the security amount of ₹ 25000/- for unreserved category & ₹ 10,000 for other categories for the engagement of the post of Branch Post Master (BPM).

The pay scale of the selected candidates will be based time relate continuity allowance (TRCA) which is as follows: -
