NABARD Development Assistant 2019:Syllabus & Exam Pattern. National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development( NABARD) is the apex level development Bank that was established on 12 July 1982 under the recommendations of B. Sivaraman Committee. NABARD has recently released the official notification for the recruitment of personnel for the post of Development Assistant & Development Assistant (Hindi).

NABARD Development Assistant 2019 Exam Pattern
The pattern of the exam is described below:
1. Preliminary Exam

- There is no specific time limit for a particular section. The total time duration for attempting 100 questions is 60 minutes.
- A candidate has to qualify in each part of the Objective test separately. There will be negative marks for the wrong answer. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The marks secured in Phase I (Prelim Exam) will not be counted for the purpose of Final Selection. This is a qualifying round similar to SBI PO prelim exam.
2. Main Examination

- Total time duration for attempting 150 questions is 90 minutes. After attempting an objective exam, there will be a descriptive exam of 50 marks.
- A candidate has to qualify in each part of the Objective test separately. There will be negative marks for the wrong answer. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Note: Final selection will be on the basis of candidate’s performance in the online Main examination in the order of merit. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final.

In GA section questions are asked from different topics which are occurred in last three or four months.
- News related to Reserve Bank of India
- Banking Awareness / Financial Awareness
- Current Affairs – Questions can be asked from various fields such as National, International, Awards, Sports, Defence, Summits, Appointment, Books & Authors and Obituary, etc.
- Static GK (Few questions)
Computer Knowledge
In Computer Knowledge section questions are asked from different topics which are illustrated below:
- Fundamentals of Computer
- History of Computer
- Internet
- MS Office – Word, Powerpoint, Excel & Access
- Memory
- Input-Output devices
- Computer Shortcuts
Professional knowledge
This test will contain questions on fluency in hindi language, translation from hindi to english and english to Hindi. There may be other types of questions also.
