RBI Security Guard Notification 2021: RBI has released an official notification for the post of RBI Security guard. A total of 241 vacancies has been released for different categories. The apply online link has been activated and candidates who are eligible for the post can apply online till 12th February 2021. There will be an online written examination to recruit the eligible staff for different offices. The online exam may be conducted in February/March 2021.

Candidates must check the eligibility conditions before applying for the post. The online test would be followed by a physical test as per Annexure I. Schedule of Online Test (Tentative)	In the month of FEBRUARY/MARCH 2021. The online test could be conducted on a weekday or weekend. RBI reserves the right to modify the number of days and dates of test depending on the number of applicants.

A total of 241 vacancies has been released. Candidates must note that the bank reserves the right to increase or decrease the vacancies mentioned. Vacancies for a total of 18 offices are announced. Candidates will be placed to the mentioned place only.

Eligibility Criteria

(a) Age (as on 01/01/2021)

Minimum Age:

25 years for General

28 Years for OBC

30 Years for SC/ST

Maximum Age

45 Years (The upper age limit of 45 years is uniformly applicable to candidates belonging to all categories inclusive of reserved candidates.)

Educational Qualification

1. Candidates must have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C/Matriculation) from a recognised state or board.

2. Ex-servicemen who have passed the qualifying examination from outside the recruitment zone either before or after leaving the military service are also eligible.

3. Candidates who have higher education or possess a higher degree are not eligible for this post.

4. Candidates should be an undergraduate as on 1/01/2021.

5. Although matriculate Ex-servicemen with 15 years of experience are considered as “Graduates” they are eligible to apply

Experience Required

Only ex-serviceman with the prior experience in the military background is eligible to apply. They should have experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected/shortlisted on the basis of the online written test and physical examination. The physical test will be qualifying in nature. After qualifying in both the test, candidates will be given provisional allotment on the basis of the document produced. Details mentioned in the online application and documents produced will be verified. In case of any discrepancy, your candidature may get cancelled.

Salary Details

Basic Salary of RBI Security Guard

basic pay of ₹10940/- Per Month

In the scale
