The level of the questions was a bit time-consuming. There were more puzzles and seating arrangement questions as compared to other topics. The topic-wise breakup of this section –

1.Puzzles and Seating Arrangement -3 sets

  • Level of questions: Easy to Moderate
  • One was a Square arrangement of 8 persons
  • One was 4months and 2 dates based scheduling puzzle

2. Syllogism -5

  • Questions were direct and easy to attempt based on few and a few concepts

3. Direction and Distance -5

  • Number of Questions asked:

4. Alphabet series-5

  • It was based on a series of alphabets
  • A total of 5 questions were asked

7.  Miscellaneous- 5

RBI Assistant Exam Review 2020: Numerical Ability

The level of this section was Moderate as reported by most of the students. This section was a bit time-consuming.

1. Data Interpretation -

  • Number of Questions asked: 5 (1 set of Bar graph)
  • Topic level: Easy

2. Wrong Number Series -

  • Number of Questions asked: 5
  • Topic level: Easy
  • Number series was a scoring topic in this section.
  • all the questions were easy

3. Simplification

  • Number of Questions asked: 15
  • Topic level: Easy
  • Easily doable questions based on BODMAS rule were asked.

4. Miscellaneous Questions (Arithmetic) -

  • Number of Questions asked: 7
  • Topic level: Easy-Moderate
  • Questions in this segment were asked from various arithmetic problems like Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Partnership, Speed, time & distance, Percentages, Age-based problems, etc.

  • Topic level: Easy

RBI Assistant Exam Review 2020: English Language

This section was easy as compared to the remaining sections. Nothing new was asked.

1. Reading Comprehension -10

  • Topic level: Easy
  • Story-based on the friendship of an elephant and a dog

2. Para jumble -5

  • Number of Questions asked: 5
  • Topic level: Easy
  • It was easy and story based

3. Error Spotting -5

  • Number of Questions asked: 5
  • Topic level: Easy to Moderate
  • Questions based on basic rules of Grammar were asked.
  • 5 sentences were given out of which one right sentence was the correct answer.

4. Miss spelled -5

  • Number of Questions asked: 5
  • Topic level: Easy to Moderate
  • Candidates were required to identify the correct option out of 5 given.
