Every candidate who intends to take the exam must meet the requirements of MH SET Eligibility 2022. The Savitribai Phule University administers this state-level entrance exam each year to choose qualified applicants for the position of assistant professor at colleges or universities in the states of Maharashtra and Goa. In the notification of the MH SET exam, SPPU stated the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test requirements.

There will be two papers in the exam, and applicants must pass both. Paper 1 is common for all candidates, and Paper 2 is subject-specific. Prior to that, Candidates have to fulfill the eligibility requirement. MH SET Eligibility 2022

Savitribai Phule Pune University has released the MH SET Eligibility 2022 through the notification. It is essential to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the MH SET Exam. There are no upper age limit criteria to appear for the exam. Candidates must have earned their Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field from a recognized university to be considered for the position.

Only candidates who meet all qualifying requirements, including the minimum age limit and educational qualification, should apply. The exam conducting authority will immediately declare a candidate's registration invalid if they do not meet the requirements of MH SET Eligibility 2022. MH SET Age Limit 2022

  • Candidates should be informed that there is no specified upper age limit for the exam as per MH SET Eligibility Criteria 2022.

MH SET Education Qualification 2022

  • Candidates need to have finished their master's degree in a SET subject that has been approved by UGC university.
  • Candidates must have a postgraduate degree, diploma, or certificate from an Indian university or institute or a foreign degree, diploma, or certificate from any foreign university or institute.
  • Candidates must have received at least 55% of the possible marks in their Master's or equivalent examination (without a bonus or rounding off).
  • Reserved category candidates ( OBC/ SBC/DT(VJ)/NT or SC/ST /Trans-genders/PwD) must require 50% marks in master's degree or equivalent.
  • Candidates who are still pursuing their master's degree course or have appeared in the final year examination may also apply for the examination.

 Remember that reserved category candidates of another state will be treated as General applicants, according to the reservation policy of Maharashtra and Goa State.

MH SET Reservation Criteria 2022

MH SET Nationality 2022

Candidates must meet the nationality requirements according to the MH SET Eligibility 2022. A candidate will not be allowed to apply for the MH SET exam if they do not meet the requirements. Candidates can check out the nationality criteria below.

Important Points for MH SET Eligibility

As per the MH SET Eligibility, there are some fixed rules for candidates who can not appear in the exam. Before applying for the exam, candidates must check that they do not fall into any below-mentioned points.

  • According to U.G.C. guidelines, candidates who have completed an M.Sc. (via PPPR/Research) are not eligible to appear in the MH SET 2022.
  • Candidates enrolled in the first year of a two-year master's program, the first two semesters of a four-year master's program or the fourth year of a five-year integrated master's program will not be eligible to take this test.
  • A candidate who previously qualified for MH SET in a subject will not be permitted to sit for that subject again.
