Hello Friends,

My name is Aman Chand. I am from a small village of Jharkhand and got selected in Both RRB OFFICER SCALE 1 AND OFFICE ASSISTANT.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale -1/Assistant 2017 Success story

Before starting my story I want to thank my Late Father, my Maa, sisters n all those who believed, supported and motivated me and gradeup.

I completed my graduation in 2014 from St Columba's college, Hazaribagh and since I have been preparing for competitive exams. I saw many ups and downs in this period. In March 2016 I lost my father that was very mournful for me and my family but my family supported me and since then my Maa and sisters have been standing by as my father. Whenever I got demoralized, I used to remember my Maa's lines "BITTU !!! EES DANIYA ME KOI V KAAM KISI AADMI SE BDA NAHI HOTA..." every time this line motivates me. I exerted myself a lot, since then I have been studying for 13-14 hours every single day.

I read THE HINDU newspaper thoroughly 2-3 hours every day. It really helps to learn grammar and increase the word power.

Following are the Examinations which I have taken so far.

SSC CGL 2015 PRE (scored 81.5 cut off 96)
IBPS PO 2015 PRE (not qualified)
IBPS CLERK 2015 PRE (qualified but couldn't clear mains)
IBPS RRB PO 2015 (scored 67.45 cut off 83.65)
SSC CGL 2016 PRE (scored 148 cut off 137 also qualified MAINS but couldn't come under merit list )
SBI CLERK 2016 PRE (scored 68.25 cut off 54 from UP but couldn't clear mains)
SBI PO PRE 2016 PRE (scored 44.50 cut off 44.75)
IBPS PO 2016 PRE (scored 46.5 cut off 47 disqualified by 0 . 5 marks)
IBPS CLERK 2016 PRE (scored 70.5 cut off 67.75 but couldn't clear mains by 2 marks)
IBPS RRB PO 2016 PRE (scored 54.25 cut off 52.75)
IN MAINS ( scored 102.66 cut off 104.23)
IBPS RRB MULTPRPS PRE (scored 65.25 cut off 57.50)
IN MAINS (scored 128.96 cut off 129.16)
SSC CGL 2017 PRE (scored 135 cut off 125)
SSC CGL MAINS REMAINING...
IBPS RRB SCALE 1 PRE (scored 64.5 cut off 54)
IBPS RRB SCALE 1 MAINS (scored 96.94 cut off 79) and now alloted JHARKHAND GRAMIN BANK.
IBPS RRB MULTIPURPOSE PRE (scored 67.5 cut off 57.75)
IBPS RRB MULTIPURPOSE IN MAINS (scored 129.75 cut off 122.67) and now alloted VANANCHAL GRAMIN BANK.

All these exams are not numbers these are my efforts. If my achievement needed 100% then my Papa's, maa's n sister's efforts n exertions are 99.9% and my efforts are only 0. 1%.

So this is not my result but my Papa's, Maa's and Sisters' success...

Study Material for Bank Exam

As far as study materials are concerned for these competitive exams. I use to read these books.

1. Quantitative Aptitude- RS Aggarwal, Kiran previous year Questions bank, and Daily gradeup quizzes
2. English - Neetu mam's book, The Hindu, Norman Lewis (word power) and Daily gradeup quizzes
3. Reasoning - Daily gradeup quizzes
4. Current affairs - Daily current affairs of gradeup and gradeup TORNADO.
5. Test Series - gradeup, oliveboard

GRADE UP helped me. It's TEST SERIES n Daily Quizzes on each subject like quantity aptitude, English language, Reasoning, current affairs are damn affect full.
