Today is the fourth day of IBPS PO Pre 2016 Exam. The exam will be conducted in 4 slots i.e. 9 am - 10 am, 11.30 am - 12.30 pm, 2 pm - 3 pm, 4.30 pm - 5.30 pm. Pattern of the exam - The Prelims Exam consists of three sections as given below:

English Language
Level - Moderate
(i) Reading Comprehension – 7 Questions – (Moderate)
Note:- No Synonym Antonym questions were asked
(ii) Cloze Test – 8 Questions (Easy) (Based on Economy)
(iii) Spotting Error/ Sentence Correction – 10 Questions (Moderate)
(iv) Para jumbles – 5 Questions (Moderate)
Quantitative Aptitude
Level –Easy to Moderate
(i) Number Series – 5 Questions (Moderate)
(ii) Approximation/ Simplification – 5 Questions (Easy )
(iii) Data Interpretation (2 Sets) – 10 Questions (Easy to Moderate) (Line graph and Tabular graph)
(iv) Quadratic Equation – 5 Questions (Easy)
(v) Miscellaneous Questions – 10 Questions (Moderate)
Miscellaneous questions include – Age, Probability, Partnership, Profit Loss, Average, Boats & Stream, Compound/Simple Interest, Time & Work, etc.
Reasoning Ability
Level – Moderate
(i) Syllogism – 5 Questions (Easy)
(ii) Inequality – 5 Questions (Easy)
(iii) Puzzle and Arrangement – 15 Questions (Moderate) (Floor arrangement, Circular arrangement, Linear arrangement - 8 people in a straight line, facing north and south)
(vi) Miscellaneous Questions (Blood Relation, Direction based) – 10 Questions (Easy to Moderate)
No Coding - Decoding Questions were asked.
