1. What is your source of inspiration to prepare for the IBPS PO Exam?
I have been a member of BYJU'S Exam Prep for a while now though this was my first time appearing for IBPS PO Exam. When I finished school and decided I want to prepare for banking exams I installed BYJU'S Exam Prep and I have been preparing from it ever since. I also purchased ryp 7300 by Rakesh Yadav for quantitative aptitude and it is the only book I purchased for banking exams. Apart from that I only practiced from BYJU'S Exam Prep. In my college days, I only used to give daily quizzes and focus on the basics but as soon as my graduation was completed I purchased the BYJU'S Exam Prep Test Series and I gave mock tests daily and analysed them.
2. How beneficial was the study material of BYJU'S Exam Prep?
It was my main source of study material when I was preparing for banking exams and there is an abundance of previous year Questions so you can also get familiar with the question paper format. Study material gets updated on a regular basis and according to the latest format. The mock test were the most helpful for me. So I'd say the study material was very beneficial for me.
3. How BYJU'S Exam Prep’s Faculty Helped you?
I have never had a problem with my basics so I only took only a handful of classes but I really loved their teaching style. I mainly focused on mock tests so according to the quality of the mock tests, I'd say they have a pretty good faculty so if you have a problem with your basics you can definitely attend their classes.
4. What was your strategy to Prepare for the IBPS PO Exam?
I have been preparing for IBPS Exams ever since I finished my 12th as I knew the competition is too high. So first of all I got familiar with the whole selection process and then I went through the syllabus after that I started my preparation. For me, my strong point was my basics in Maths and English were clear. So all I had to do was practice as much as I could. The main problem I faced was in GA and I only started preparing for GA when Pre result was announced as it was my first time giving Bank exam and I wasn't confident I was gonna make it. So I worked really hard for GA section as well as mains level preparation for Quants, reasoning and English, and for that I studied from monthly pdf current affairs on BYJU'S Exam Prep, so I'd say you keep your GA updated from the time you fill the application form and give mock tests on a daily basis and analyse them thoroughly.
5. According to you, how important is the regular practice through mock tests/quizzes/previous years' papers to help in qualifying for the exam?
I think giving mock tests is the key to clearing bank exams. You can study all you want but it won't matter unless you give mock tests and analyse your mistakes, overcome them and get speed and accuracy. You don't need to have deep knowledge on any topic to clear the exam just enough to solve the problems and that too with speed. So give as many mock tests as you can.
6. Short description (2-3 lines) regarding BYJU'S Exam Prep Test Series/Mocks and how did they help them in cracking the Exam
Their test series are really good. It was the only test series that I purchased and it was quite sufficient.
