IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2020 Shift 1, 3rd October: Today is the first day of IBPS PO Prelims exam. The first shift of the day is successfully concluded now. IBPS PO Clerk Prelims 2020: Exam Centre Guidelines

  1. Students are required to wear a mask during the examination. 
  2. Students are allowed to carry a personal transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), gloves & a simple pen inside the exam centre
  3. An aspirant must have installed Arogya-Setu app on their smartphone and the app must show the COVID 19 risk profile of the student.
  4. At the exam centre, the registration of the candidates will be done with photo capture.
  5. In the exam hall, there will be two separate dropbox for the roughs

The level of this section was Moderate as reported by most of the students. This section was a bit time-consuming.

  • Type: Tabular DI and Line Graph
  • Caselet DI: 3 ques
  • Tabulation was calculative based on efficiency, capacity, production rate and output of the machine.
  • Line graph was easy to moderate. Given 2 years and population of elephant in the various zoo.
  • Caselet was based on a number of boys and girls particip[ating in an event.

2. Quadratic Equation

  • Number of Questions asked: 5
  • Topic level: Moderate
  • Type: Standard

3. Simplification/Approximation

  • Number of Questions asked: 5
  • Topic level: Easy to mOderate
  • Type: Based on BODMAS rule

4. Miscellaneous Questions (Arithmetic) 

  • Number of Questions asked: 12
  • Topic level: Moderate
  • Type: Questions in this segment were asked from various arithmetic problems like Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Partnership, Speed, time & distance, Percentages, Age-based problems, etc.

This section was easy as compared to the remaining sections. Nothing new was asked.

  • Vocab based questions were also asked- 2 ques 
  • 2-3 direct questions
  • 1 inference based question.

The IBPS PO Prelims exam shift 2 is now over and we are sharing the complete exam analysis with you. The overall level of shift 2 was more difficult than the IBPS PO Shift 1. In reasoning, most of the questions were asked from the puzzles and seating arrangement topics. There were 2 sets of Data Interpretation and 1 set of caselet DI asked in the Quantitative Aptitude section. While in the English section, questions were asked from the Reading Comprehension, Phrase Replacement, Word Interchange etc.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2020, Shift 3:

The IBPS PO Prelims exam shift 3 is now over. The overall level of the exam was easy to moderate. Among all the three sections, English Language section was the easiest. There is a Reading Comprehension based on ongoing Pandemic. There was also a close test based on time management. In reasoning, there were 4 sets of puzzles and seating arrangement questions. In Quant, most of the questions were from Data Interpretation and Arithmetic topics.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2020, Shift 4: 

The IBPS PO Prelims Exam shift 4 is now over. The questions asked in the Shift 4 of 3rd October 2020 are almost of the similar pattern as asked in the previous shifts. The reading comprehension was based on ' Automation of AI would disrupt the Economy'. In Reasoning 5 sets of Puzzles and Seating Arrangement were asked. Out of these one puzzles has 3 questions. In quantitative aptitude, a total of 15 questions were asked from the data interpretation.
