IBPS Clerk 2018 Success Story: Siddheshwar Hale

Hello everyone,

It's actually 'The Failure story'. This is Siddheshwar Hale. I am a Mechanical engineer. I Graduated in July 2018. I have always dreamed to get a government job. The situation of engineering graduates gave me the opportunity to opt for banking as no one stopped me from preparing for bank exams.

The examinations which are given by me:

NIACL Assistant- Out in Mains (My first exam)
IBPS PO- Not selected in the final list
NIACL AO- Out in mains(prepared very well but failed miserably)
IBPS CLERK- Got Selected in 'BANK OF INDIA'

MY NEXT AIM -

1)LIC AAO
2)SBI PO

Now as my family financial situation is not that great so I must have to join IBPS Clerk. Looking forward to get my dream job.

My Strategy for Success

Here are my subject-wise strategies:

A)Reasoning Ability:
It is my favourite subject. I have prepared this subject only from YouTube lectures *study iq *merit shine. I have made a plan to solve 10 puzzles every day. I am following that plan today also. I think once you practice daily you can easily become master in this. BYJU'S Exam Prep mini test and practice section has helped me a lot. I think there is no need for any book for the preparation of this section as online resources are enough.
My scores in reasoning are as below :
1) NIACL Assistant Preliminary-33.5/35
2) NIACL Assistant mains 36/50
3) NIACL AO  pre- 34/35
4)NIACL AO mains 41.24/50
5)IBPS PO pre- 29.75/35
6)IBPS clerk pre- 32/35
7)IBPS clerk mains- 37.80/50
8)Canara PGDBF -43.25/50

B) Quantitative Aptitude
For this subject, I completely relied on YouTube Lectures, especially *merit shine *. Practice is the key to success, so practice as much as you can. BYJU'S Exam Prep practice section has lots of questions.

C)English Language
I actually did not prepare specially for this subject as this is my one of the strong subjects. I followed these strategies for this section :
  • Read editorials from newspapers daily,
  • Watched debate 'the big picture' on Rajyasabha tv every day,
  • Wrote Essays every day
D) General Awareness/Banking Awareness
  • Study IQ(YouTube)
  • Gradeup(daily monthly weekly oneliner)
  • Gk Today(YouTube)

Don't follow many resources for the preparation of this section!

At last, genuinely I was not happy from inside when I saw my result on 1st April. but it fuelled my mind and I am with Fully energy preparing for LIC AAO, SBI PO.

 "NEVER SETTLE DOWN"

I strongly believe in this line. Hopefully, I will share my LIC AAO success story in September 2019.

Thanks to all BYJU'S Exam Prep family. You all are awesome!!
