  1. Puzzles and Seating Arrangement: Fifteen questions were asked from this section.
  • Linear Arrangement:  There was a linear arrangement, from which 5 questions were asked.
  • Scheduling: The scheduling puzzle was based on month and date, from where there were 5 questions.
  • Seating arrangement: Another was a square-based seating arrangement from which 5 questions were asked.
  1. Blood Relation: 3 questions were asked.
  2. Inequality: 5 questions of inequality were asked.
  3. Syllogism: There were no questions from syllogism.
  4. Coding-decoding:  There were 5 questions of coding-decoding.
  5. Alphanumeric Series: 5 questions were asked.
  6. Word rearrangement: There was 1 question of word rearrangement, where the word was Special. Another was a miscellaneous question.

Numerical Ability Exam Analysis of IBPS Clerk Prelims 2019 1st Shift (8th Dec)

The overall level of the section:  Easy-Moderate

  1. Simplification: There were 10 questions of Simplification.
  2. Data Interpretation:  There were 2 questions of DI. Both were tabular based DIs.
  3. Number Series: Missing number series were asked in a set of 5 questions.
  4. Quadratic Equations: 5 questions were asked from this topic.
  1. Arithmetic Questions: Questions under this segment were asked from topics such as Partnerships, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Time Speed & Distance, Mixtures & Alligation, etc.  There were 5 arithmetic questions.

English Language Exam Analysis of IBPS Clerk Prelims 2019 1st Shift (8th Dec)

  1. Reading Comprehension: The passage was based on the theme of coffee production. There were 10 questions from the RC. two questions of antonyms and synonyms were asked.
  2. Para Jumble: 5 sentences need to be arranged. 
  3. Fill in the Blanks: There were 5 questions from this topic, which were based on single fillers.
  4. Sentence Rearrangement: 5 questions from this topic were asked.
  5. Wrong word/inappropriate usage: There were 5 questions on grammatical errors
