GATE 2022 Exam Date Announced

As per the latest GATE 2022 Information brochure, the dates of The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) are announced, for 2022. The dates are February 5, 6, 12, and 13 of 2022.

The Director of the institute VK Tiwari said "The two new papers will provide direct benefits to our graduates in these two areas, especially when the country needs human resources with advanced capabilities in shipbuilding industries and geo-informatics,"  he also added "Further, the GATE is fast acquiring a brand value and foreign universities are also utilizing the scores for their admission,"

Two New Papers Announced for 2022 GATE

IIT Kharagpur has also announced the two new papers for the year 2022 exam i.e. GE (Geomatics Engineering) and NM (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering), taking the total number of GATE papers to 29. Students for this branch can now give the exam in their respective branches.

Importance of GATE Exam

• GATE is a common entrance exam for post-graduate and public sector jobs. Most students will benefit from this because they will only have to study for one exam.
• The exam is quite technical, and just a few questions from other subjects, such as aptitude, are asked. Many students preparing for Engineering-only exams prefer GATE.
• If you pass GATE 2022, you can enroll in a state or national-level university/college to pursue higher education such as M.Tech. You will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,400 until you complete your study in two years.
• GATE scores are valid for three years from the date of the GATE result for admission to an M.Tech. program.
• Your GATE score will be valid for the current year for government jobs. The GATE score, on the other hand, is considered by the PSUs for which you are applying.

GATE 2022 Exam Slot Papers

In the upcoming days, IIT Kharagpur will announce the GATE 2022 Exam slot for different papers. Some of the papers may be held on multiple slots due to a high number of applicants. For the multiple slots, normalization will be done to avoid the variation of marks.

GATE 2022 Result Date

On March 17 2021, the GATE authorities will publish the GATE 2022 results in GOAPS. Through the GATE result 2022, candidates will be able to see their GATE scores and rank. Candidates who qualify for GATE 2022 will also be able to download their GATE score card a few days after the results are announced.
