On prime factorization of 360 we will have 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5 as its prime factors. On the other hand, the prime factors of 18144 are 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 7.
Now, we have to find the HCF of the given numbers with the help of the above-mentioned prime factors. So, the HCF of 360 and 18144 by Prime Factorization is 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 which is 72.
