Dena Bank has recently announced revised exam dates for Dena Bank PO Exam 2017-18. The exam is going to be conducted on 02nd June 2018. The candidates who are looking forward to make a career in Dena Bank must have been preparing well for the exam as just 5 weeks are left for it.

  • There is negative marking of 0.25 marks in the objective test.
  • There is no sectional timing in objective test. A total time of 2 hours will be provided to complete all the four sections i.e Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness
  • The descriptive test will start immediately after the completion of the objective test. 
  • The level of exam is expected to be moderate to slightly difficult. From today till the date of the exam you are having five weeks of time.We are sharing a strategy to utilise this time to optimise your chances. Before moving ahead, check the details of Dena Bank PO syllabus.

Key Steps for Preparation -

Step 1:- The strategy is to first secure cut off marks with easy level topics -

  • For this purpose, the candidates need to focus first on the easy topics of each section:
    English Language - Cloze test, reading comprehension, fill in the blanks, error spotting
    Quantitative Aptitude - Simplification, approximation, number series,  quadratic equations
    Reasoning Ability - Inequality, syllogism, blood relation, direction sense, alphanumeric series
  • Understand the concepts of above-mentioned topic well and then pratice different level of questions as well as take topic wise quizzes.
  • Continue practising till you feel very confident in these easy and scoring topics.

Step 2:- Maximise your score with moderate and difficult level topics -

  • When you are well familiar with easy level topics, it's time to challenge your self with moderate to difficult level topics.
  • Keep on practising different types of questions and attempt topic wise quizzes.
  • Analyse your progress time to time and step up your preparation accordingly.

Step 3:- Take as many mock tests as you can -

  • Take mock tests of good quality, as the content matters. The mock tests should match the level of actual exam. Dena Bank PO Exam will be of moderate level.
  • Make sure to do a proper analysis of mocks. With analysis, you will get to know your strong and weak areas. Work on the topics accordingly.
