  • Meaning: To subvert something means to destroy its power and influence.
  • Synonyms: destabilize, unsettle, overthrow
  • Antonyms: bolster, uphold, clean
  • Usage in a sentence: It was an attempt to subvert democratic government

4. Word: Grandiose (भव्य)

  • Pronunciation: gran-di-ose/ग्रैन्डीओस
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: extravagantly or pretentiously imposing in appearance or style/appearing to be impressive but not really possible or practical
  • Synonyms: magnificent, impressive, grand, imposing
  • Antonyms: unimpressive, humble, modest 
  • Use in a Sentence: Always producing grandiose plans will never work,until you work hard for them.

5.  Word: Amorphous (अव्यवस्थित)

  • Part of Speech
  • Pronunciation: uh-mawr-fuh s/अमॉर्फस
  • Meaning: 
    a. without a clearly defined shape or form.
    b. lacking a clear structure or focus
  • Synonyms: unstructured, vague
  • Antonyms: distinct, expert
  • Use in a Sentence: Sometimes, we can't understand their amorphous ideas.

6.  Word: Caveat (प्रतिवाद)

  • Pronunciation: kav-ee-aht/ कैवीऐट
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. a warning or caution; admonition.
    b. Law. a legal notice to a court or public officer to suspend a certain proceeding until the notifier is given a hearing:
  • Synonyms: caution, warning, admonition
  • Antonyms: carelessness, consonance, betrayal
  • Usage in a sentence: He fought a caveat filed against the probate of his father's will.

7. Word: Elite (उच्च वर्ग)

  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Pronunciation: ih-leet/ऐलीट
  • Meaning: a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society.
  • Synonyms: nobility, prime
  • Antonyms: worst, ordinary
  • Use in a Sentence: Public opinion is influenced by the small elite who control the media.

8. Word : Wander (विचलित होना)

  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Pronunciation: won-der/वान्डर
  • Meaning: walk or move in a leisurely or aimless way.
  • Synonyms: roam, stray
  • Antonyms: stay, hurry
  • Use in a Sentence: Try not to let your mind wander.

9. WordExaggerate (बढ़ाकर कहना)

  • Pronunciation: ig-zaj-uh-reyt/इग्ज़ैजरैट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:

       a. represent (something) as being larger, better, or worse than it really is.

       b. enlarged or altered beyond normal proportions.

  • Synonyms: aggrandizes, magnifies, heightens
  • Antonyms: devalues, alleviates, weakens
  • Use in a Sentence: Everyone exaggerates his/her natural tendency under tension.

10Word: Desolate (निर्जन करना)

  • Part of Speech: Adjective, Verb
  • Pronunciation: des-uh-lit/डेसलेट
  • Meaning: 
    a. feeling or showing great unhappiness or loneliness. [Adjective]
    b. make (someone) feel utterly wretched and unhappy. [Verb]
  • Synonyms: lonely, miserable
  • Antonyms: cheerful, happy
  • Use in a Sentence: The house stood in a flat and desolate landscape.
