    a. a person fighting against a government or invading force; a rebel or revolutionary. [Noun]
    b. rising in active revolt. [Adjective]

  • Usage in a sentence: It was also a fight to consolidate his position within the insurgent.

4. Word: Surreal (अवास्तविक)

  • Pronunciation: suh-ree-uh l/सरीअल

    b. having the disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream; unreal; fantastic

5. Word: Tad (शिशु)

  • Meaning:
    a. a small child, especially a boy
    b. a very small amount or degree; bit
  • Synonyms: little bit, smidgen, shade, bit
  • Antonyms: lot, significant amount of

6. Word: Deterrent (डराकर रोकने वाला)

  • Pronunciation: dih-tur-uhnt/ डिटरन्ट

    a. a thing that discourages or is intended to discourage someone from doing something. (Noun)
    b. able or intended to deter. (Adjective)

7. Word: Behest (आदेश)

    b. an earnest or strongly worded request (Noun)

8. Word: Ubiquitous (सर्वत्र)

  • Pronunciation: ri-streynt/यूबिक्विटस
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning
    a. existing or being everywhere, especially at the same time; omnipresent
  • Synonyms: omnipresent, universal, everywhere, pervasive, prevalent
  • Antonyms: rare, absent, scarce, infrequent
  • Usage in a sentence: The mobile phone, the most ubiquitous of consumer-electronic appliances, is about to enter a new age.

9.  Word: Contravene (उल्लंघन करना)

  • Pronunciation: kon-truh-veen/ कान्ट्रवीन
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. to come or be in conflict with; go or act against; deny or oppose:
    b. to violate, infringe, or transgress:
  • Synonyms: breach, flout, transgress
  • Antonyms: collaborate, agree, accept
  • Usage in a sentence: One should not behave in a manner that contravenes the rules.

10. Word: Flinch (पीछे हटना)

  • Pronunciation: flinch/फ्लिन्च
  • Part of Speech
  • Meaning: Verb
    a. to make a sudden, small movement because of pain or fear
    b. to draw back or shrink, as from what is dangerous, difficult, or unpleasant
    c. to shrink under pain; wince
