            b. a suspension of movement or activity, typically a temporary one. [Noun]

    • Synonyms: stop, cease, pause
    • Antonyms: continue, begin, commence

    4. Word: Foil (असफलता, व्यग्र करना)

    • Pronunciation: foil/ फॉइल
    • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb

    6. Word: Audacity (धृष्टता)

    • Pronunciation: aw-das-i-tee/ऑडैसिटी
    • Part of Speech: Noun
    • Meaning:
      a. boldness or daring, especially with confident or arrogant disregard for personal safety, conventional thought, or other restrictions
      b. effrontery or insolence; shameless boldness
    • Synonyms: boldness, nerve, courage, daring

    7. Word: Endure (भुगतना)

    • Pronunciation: en-doo r/इन्डुर
    • Part of Speech: Verb
    • Meaning: 

            a. suffer (something painful or difficult) patiently.

            b. remain in existence; last.

    • Synonyms: tolerate, abide
    • Antonyms: cease, dismiss
    • Use in a Sentence: The pain was almost too great to endure.

    8. Word: Come to naught (पूरी तरह से असफल) 

    • Part of Speech: Phrasal verb
    • Meaning –   To be totally unsuccessful or amount to nothing
    • Synonyms-: fruitless, fail, in vain
    • Antonyms -   succeedthrive, fruitful
    • Usage in a sentence- All those hours spent researching my graduate thesis have come to naught.

    9. Word: Spell out ( स्पष्ट करना)

    • Part of Speech: Phrasal verb
    • Meaning -  to give all the details of something , to spell something (with letters)
    • Synonyms -  explain, make clear, elucidate/clarify.
    • Antonyms - Baffle , confuse
    • Usage in a sentence - The instruction book for my microwave oven spells out everything very carefully.

    10. Word: Taint (दूषण, दूषित करना)

    • Pronunciation: teynt/ टेन्ट
    • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb
    • Meaning
      a. something with a contaminating influence or effect. (Noun)
      b. contaminate or pollute (something). (Verb)
    • Synonyms: contaminate, pollute, adulterate, infect, tarnish, sully
    • Antonyms: disinfect, purify, cleanse, enhance
    • Usage in a sentence: The taint of politics in conservation is not peculiar to the federal agencies.
