  • Pronunciation: ek-struh-dish-uh n/ एक्स्ट्रडिशन
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: the action of extraditing (handing over) a person accused or convicted of a crime.
  • Synonyms: deportation, banishment, expatriation
  • Antonyms: repatriation
  • Usage in a sentence: The new government will seek the extradition of the suspected terrorists.

5. Word: Acquit (दोषमुक्‍त करना)

  • Pronunciationuh-kwit/ अक्विट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning
    a. free (someone) from a criminal charge by a verdict of not guilty.
    b. conduct oneself or perform in a specified way.
  • Synonyms: absolve, exonerate, clear, excuse
  • Antonyms: condemn, accuse, convict, denounce
  • Usage in a sentence: The judge directed the jury to acquit all the defendants.

6. Word: Commute (आदान प्रदान करना)

  • Pronunciation: kuh-myoot/कम्यूट
  • Part of Speech: Verb, Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. to change (a prison sentence or other penalty) to a less severe one (Verb)
    b. to exchange for another or for something else; give and take reciprocally; interchange (Verb)
    c. to travel regularly over some distance, as from a suburb into a city and back (verb)

  • Meaning - secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy in order to deceive others

  • Pronunciation: ak-sen-choo-eyt/ ऐक्सेन्चूऐट

  • Meaning: make more noticeable or prominent.
  • Synonyms: highlight, emphasize
  • Antonyms: degrade, belittle
  • Usage in a Sentence: The director uses music to accentuate the rising dramatic tension.

9. Word: Apprehend (पकड़ना)

  • Pronunciation: ap-ri-hend/ऐप्रिहेन्ड
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. arrest (someone) for a crime
    b. understand or perceive
  • Synonyms: comprehend, arrest

    b. the way in which something operates or works
