  • Meaning: a set of reasons or a logical basis for a course of action or belief.
  • Synonyms: justification, explanation
  • Antonyms: discouragement
  • Use in a Sentence: The plan was criticized for its lack of rationale.

 3. Word: Manifest (स्पष्ट करना)

  • Pronunciation: /मैनफेस्ट
  • Part of Speech: Adjective, Noun
  • Meaning: 
    a. clear or obvious to the eye or mind. [Adjective]
    b. show (a quality or feeling) by one's acts or appearance; demonstrate. [Verb]
  • Synonyms: evident, exhibit
  • Antonyms: vague, obscure
  • Usage in a Sentence: You manifest what you believe, not what you want.

4. Word: Lure (प्रलोभन/ प्रलोभन देना)

  • Pronunciation: loor/ लुर
  • Part of Speech: Verb, Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. tempt (a person or animal) to do something or to go somewhere, especially by offering some form of reward. (Verb)
    b. something that tempts or is used to tempt a person or animal to do something. (Noun)
    c. a type of bait used in fishing or hunting. (Noun)

  • Antonyms: repel, dissuade, appal, aversion, browbeat
  • Usage in a Sentence: The lure of rural life is proving as strong as ever.

5. Word: Persuade (समझाना)

  • Pronunciation: per-sweyd/पर्स्वैड
  • Part of Speech
  • Meaning:
    a. to prevail on (a person) to do something, as by advising or urging:
    b. to induce to believe by appealing to reason or understanding; convince:
  • Synonyms: convince, influence, induce
  • Antonyms: dissuade, prevent, discourage

6. Word: Resentment (नाराजगी)

  • Pronunciation: ri-zent-muhnt/ रिज़ेन्ट्मन्ट

  • Meaning:
    a. the feeling of displeasure or indignation at some act, remark, person, etc., regarded as causing injury or insult.

7. Word: Ambiguous (अनेकार्थी)

  • Meaning: open to more than one interpretation; not having one obvious meaning.
  • Synonyms: vague, uncertain, equivocal
  • Antonyms: definite, clear, explicit

8. Word: Nitty-grittty (महत्वपूर्ण पहलू)

  • Pronunciation: nit-ee-grit-ee/निटी ग्रिटी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: the most important aspects or practical details of a subject or situation.
  • Synonyms: core, crux, centre, quintessence
  • Antonyms: exterior, outside
  • Use in a Sentence: It's time to get down to the nitty-gritty of how much this will cost.

9. Word: Elicit (प्रकट करना)

  • Pronunciation: ih-lis-it/इलिसिट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning
    a. to get or produce something, especially information or a reaction
    b. to obtain something, esp. information or a reaction
    c. to draw or bring out or forth; educe; evoke

10Word: Far-fetched (अवास्तविक)

  • Antonyms: probable, likely, realistic
