  • Antonyms: encourage, allow
  • Usage in a sentence: The country's progress was constrained by a leader who refused to look forward.

3. Word: Transparency (पारदर्शिता)

  • Pronunciation: trans-pair-uh n-see/ ट्रैन्स्पेरन्सी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: the condition of being transparent.
  • Synonyms: lucidity, clarity, unambiguity
  • Antonyms: obscurity, ambiguity
  • Usage in a sentence: The Chancellor emphasised his determination to promote openness and transparency in the Government's economic decision-making.

4. Word: Sovereignty (सत्ता)

  • Pronunciation:sov-rin-tee/साव्रिन्टी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. supreme power or authority
    b. the authority of a state to govern itself or another state
    c. a self-governing state.
  • Synonyms: freedom, democracy
  • Antonyms: retention, belief
  • Usage in a Sentence: The people embrace their independence and sovereignty.

5. Word: Condemn (दंडनीय घोषित करना)

  • Pronunciation: kuhn-dem/ कन्डेम
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: 
    a. express complete disapproval of; censure.
    b. sentence (someone) to a particular punishment, especially death.
  • Synonyms: denounce, blame, criticize

6. Word: Assert (द्दढ़तापूर्वक करना)

  • Pronunciation: uh-surt/असर्ट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. to behave in a way that expresses your confidence, importance, or power and earns you respect from others
    b. to say that something is certainly true
    c. to do something to show that you have power
    d. to maintain or defend
  • Synonyms: Affirm, declare, claim, state, maintain
  • Antonyms: deny, reject, abandon
  • Usage in a sentence: I really must assert myself more in meetings.

7. Word: Reconnaissance (किसी स्थान का सैनिक सर्वेक्षण)

  • Pronunciation: ri-kon-uh-suhns/रीकानिसन्स
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning
    a. the act of reconnoitering
    b. Military. a search made for useful military information in the field, especially by examining the ground
    c. Surveying, Civil Engineering. a general examination or survey of a region, usually followed by a detailed survey
    d. Geology. an examination or survey of the general geological characteristics of a region
  • Synonyms: exploration, survey, inspection
  • Usage in a sentence: Aerial reconnaissance of the enemy position showed they were ready to attack.

  • Meaning: the action of extraditing (handing over) a person accused or convicted of a crime.
