  • Usage in a sentence: He was able to discourse at great length on the problems of education.

3. Word: Imprimatur (अनुमति)

  • Pronunciation: im-pri-mah-ter/ इम्प्रिमाटर
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: a person's authoritative approval.
  • Synonyms: sanction, permission, approval
  • Antonyms: disapproval, refusal, rejection, censure
  • Usage in a Sentence: The project cannot go ahead without the imprimatur of the Treasury.

4. Word: Obscure (अस्पष्ट)

  • Pronunciation: obs-cure/अब्स्क्युर
  • Part of Speech: Adjective, Verb
  • Meaning: 
    a. not discovered or known about; uncertain (Adjective)
    b. keep from being seen, conceal (Verb)
  • Synonyms: ambiguous, hidden
  • Antonyms: clear, common

  • Pronunciation: stel-er/स्टेलर
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning:
    a. of or relating to the stars; consisting of stars
    b. like a star, as in brilliance, shape, etc.
    c. pertaining to a preeminent performer, athlete, etc.
  • Synonyms: astral, leading, great
  • Antonyms: inferior, substandard
  • Usage in a sentence: The cellist gave a stellar performance before an enthusiastic audience.

6. Word: Evade (बच निकलना)

  • Pronunciation: ih-veyd/ ईवैड
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. to escape from by trickery or cleverness:
    b. to get around by trickery:
    c. to avoid doing or fulfilling:
    d. to avoid answering directly:
  • Synonyms: avoid, dodge, elude
  • Antonyms: confront, accept, embrace
  • Usage in a sentence: Rohan tend to evade his responsibilities

7. Word: Accord (सहमाति)

  • Pronunciationuh-kawrd/अकॉर्ड
  • Part of Speech: Verb, Noun
  • Meaning: 
    a. give or grant someone (power, status, or recognition). [Verb] 
    b. (of a concept or fact) be harmonious or consistent with. [Verb]
    c. an official agreement or treaty. [Noun]
  • Synonyms: agreement, harmony, concord
  • Antonyms: discord, squabble
  • Use in a Sentence: Such an order would not be in accord with our system.

8. WordMoribund (अन्त के करीब)

  • Pronunciation: mawr-uh-buhnd/मॉरबन्ड
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: 

         a. (of a person) at the point of death. 

         b. (of a thing) in terminal decline; lacking vitality or vigour.

  • Synonyms: dying, stagnant, weak
  • Antonyms: alive, fresh
  • Use in a Sentence: The region's heavy industry is still inefficient and moribund.

9. Word:  Solatium (क्षतिपूर्ति राशि)

  • Pronunciation: soh-ley-shee-uhm
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. something given in compensation for inconvenience, loss, injury, or the like; recompense.
    b. Law. damages awarded to a plaintiff as compensation for personal suffering or grief arising from an injury.
  • Synonyms: recompense, amends, atonement
  • Antonyms: loss, damage, default
  • Usage in a sentence: The government gave a solatium to the families affected by the wildfire.

 10Word: Distraught (परेशान)

  • Pronunciation: dih-strawt/डिस्ट्रॉट 
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: very worried and upset.
  • Synonyms: agitated, distressed, anxious
  • Antonyms: calm, pleased, tranquil
  • Use in a Sentence: My parents were terribly distraught at the news of my brother's accident.

The government grant solatium to the flood affected people in accord with the state government. Also to the farmers whose land turned moribund due to the complete erosion. The cattles are somehow saved as they evaded through the havoc. Many are distraught because  properties and houses, deluged in flood, pass by as the water flow.
