3. Word: Buoyant (उल्लासी)

  • Pronunciation: boi-uhnt/बॉइअन्ट
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning:
    a. tending to float in a fluid
    b. capable of keeping a body afloat, as a liquid
    c. not easily depressed; cheerful
    d. cheering or invigorating
  • Synonyms: cheerful, happy, joyful
  • Antonyms: sad, heavy, depressed
  • Usage in a sentence: Cork is light and buoyant.

4. Word: Emanate (उत्पन्न होना)

  • Pronunciation: em-uh-neyt/ एमनेट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: (of a feeling, quality, or sensation) issue or spread out from (a source).
  • Synonyms: issue, radiate, originate
  • Antonyms: absorb, withdraw
  • Usage in a sentence: The waves that emanate from the collision of two black holes should be detectable.

5. WordOnus (दायित्व)

  • Pronunciation: oh-nuh s/ ओनस
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: Something that is one's duty or responsibility.
  • Synonyms: responsibility, liability, obligation
  • Antonyms: help, irresponsibility, impassiveness
  • Usage in a Sentence: The onus is on employers of the company to follow all the safety laws.

6. WordFallout (नतीजा)

  • Pronunciation: fawl-out/फॉलाउट
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: 
    a. the settling to the ground of airborne particles ejected into the atmosphere from the earth by explosions, eruptions, forest fires, etc., especially such settling from nuclear explosions (radioactive fallout )
    b. the particles themselves. Compare rainout
    c. an unexpected or incidental effect, outcome, or product
    d. effects; results
  • Synonyms: effect, impact, repercussions
  • Antonyms: cause, reason
  • Usage in a sentence: cancer deaths caused by fallout from weapons testing.

7. Word: Flag (मुद्रण चेतावनी)

  • Pronunciation: flag/फ्लैग
  • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. to place a flag or flags over or on; decorate with flags (Verb)
    b. to signal or warn (a person, automobile, etc.) with or as if with a flag (sometimes followed by down) (Verb)
    c. the tuft of long feathers on the legs of falcons and most hawks; the lengthened feathers on the crus or tibia (Noun)
    d.the name of a newspaper as printed on the editorial page (Noun)
    e. the name of a newspaper as printed on the editorial page (Noun)
    f. to become tired, weaker, or less effective (Verb)
  • Synonyms: banner, droop, pennant, decline
  • Antonyms: strengthen, work hard, go to the limit
  • Usage in a sentence: There were flags on the tops of many of the buildings.

8. Phrase: Call all hands to the deck (मदद क लिए बुलाना)

  • Pronunciation:  call all hands-on-dek/कॉल आल हैंड्स टो डेक 
  • Meaning
    a. by extension, everyone available to help with a problem, or a call for those people to help
    b. a call for all members of a ship's crew to come to the deck, usually in a time of crisis
  • Synonyms: all the help you can get, all possible assistance, every possible assistance

9. WordResilience (तन्यकता)

  • Pronunciation: ri-zil-yuh ns/रिज़िलीअन्स
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.
    b. the ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; elasticity.
  • Synonyms:  flexibility, plasticity, elasticity,
  • Antonyms: frailty, rigidity
  • Usage in a Sentence: My mother has shown great resilience to stress.

10. Word: Robust (मजबूत)

  • Pronunciation: roh-buhst/रोबस्ट
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: 
    a. strong and healthy; vigorous.
  • Synonyms: powerful, persistent
  • Antonyms: weak, feeble
  • Usage in a Sentence: The organization is taking a more robust approach to management.
