8. Word: Bridge (सेतु, अंतर मिटाना)

  • Pronunciation: brij/ ब्रिज 
  • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb
  • Meaning
    a. a structure carrying a road, path, railway, etc. across a river, road, or another obstacle. (Noun)
    b. something intended to reconcile or connect two seemingly incompatible things. (Noun)
    c. be or make a bridge over (something). (Verb)
    d. make (a difference between two groups) smaller or less significant. (Verb)
  • Synonyms:  link, connect, unite; straddle; overcome, reconcile
  • Antonyms: disconnect, unlink, separate, gap

9. Word: Escalate (बढ़ाना)

  • Pronunciation: es-kuh-leyt/ एस्कलैट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: increase rapidly, make or become more intense or serious.
  • Synonyms: intensify, heighten
