  • Antonyms: forget, neglect, end

4. Word: Embargo (व्यापार घाट बंदी)

  • Pronunciation: em-bahr-goh/एम्बार्गो
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. an order of a government prohibiting the movement of merchant ships into or out of its ports.
    b. an injunction from a government commerce agency to refuse freight for shipment, as in case of congestion or insufficient facilities.
    c. any restriction imposed upon commerce by edict.

  • Meaning:
    a. to remove or destroy all traces of; do away with; destroy completely
    b. to blot out or render undecipherable (writing, marks, etc.); efface
  • Synonyms: delete, destroy, eradicate, wipe out, blot out

  • Meaning
    a. (Chess) a position of the pieces in which a player cannot move any piece except the king and cannot move the king without putting it in check (Noun)
    b. any position or situation in which no action can be taken or progress made; deadlock (Noun)
