  • Meaning:
    a. to try to increase business activity or get support for something

  • Antonyms: dissuade, lose, neglect
  • Usage in a sentence: Retailers are trying to drum up sales with price cuts.

 3Word: Cement (मज़बूत बनाना)

  • Pronunciation: si-ment/सिमेन्ट

  • Meaning
    a. to make something such as an agreement or friendship stronger (Verb)
  • Synonyms: concrete, grout, affix
  • Antonyms: divide, split, assail

    d. a leg, either real or wooden (Noun)

    c. a principal or capital sum, as opposed to interest or income

6. Word: Prohibitive (प्रतिषेधक) 

  • Pronunciation: proh-hib-i-tiv/प्रोहिबिटिव
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning:
    a. serving or tending to prohibit or forbid something:
    b. sufficing to prevent the use, purchase, etc., of something
    c. having so great a likelihood of success that others vying for the same thing are essentially prevented from succeeding
  • Synonyms: exorbitant, extortionate, unreasonable
  • Antonyms: affordable, inexpensive, permissive
  • Usage in a sentence: Hotel prices in the major cities are high but not prohibitive.

7. Phrase: Roll out (प्रस्तुतीकरण)

  • Pronunciation: rohl-out/रोल आउट 
  • Meaning:
    a. the introduction or inauguration of a new product or service, as by an advertising campaign, public announcement, or exhibition
  • Synonyms: straighten, unfurling, spread 
    • Antonyms: sack out, drift off
  • Usage in a sentence: A media campaign is expected to roll out early next year.

8. Word: Malformation (विकृत रचना)

  • Pronunciation: mal-fawr-mey-shuhn/मैल्फोर्मेशन
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. faulty or anomalous formation or structure, especially in a living body
  • Synonyms: deformity, abnormality, distortion
  • Usage in a sentence: Exposure to radiation can lead to malformation of the embryo.

9. Word: Crowdfunding (निधीकरण)

  • Pronunciation: kroud-fuhn-ding/क्राउड फन्डिंग
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. the activity or process of raising money from a large number of people, typically through a website, as for a project or small business (Noun)
  • Synonyms: joint financing, pooled funding

10. Word: Mass (सार्वजनिक)

  • Pronunciation: mas/मैस
  • Part of Speech
  • Meaning:
    a. to come together in or form a mass or masses (Adjective)

    c. a collection of incoherent particles, parts, or objects regarded as forming one body (Noun)
