  • Part of Speech: Adjective, Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. a book or a programme consisting of two or more parts that have already been published or broadcast separately (Noun)
    b. pertaining to, including, or dealing with numerous objects or items at once (Adjective)
  • Usage in a sentence: I enjoyed the omnibus edition of Eastenders on Sunday.

3.  Word: Animosity (वैरभाव)

  • Pronunciation: an-uh-mos-i-tee/ऐनमासिटी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:

        a. strong hostility.

  • Synonyms: antipathy, acrimony
  • Antonyms: kindness, benevolence
  • Use in a Sentence: There's a long history of animosity between the two nations.

4. WordInflammatory (दाहक)

  • Pronunciation:  in-flam-uh-tawr-ee/इन्फ्लैमटॉरी 
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: tending to stir up conflict.
  • Synonyms: rabble-rousing, incendiary
  • Antonyms: conciliatory, flexible
  • Use in a Sentence: The soldiers were trained to deal with inflammatory attacks.

5. Word: Emanate (उत्पन्न होना)

  • Pronunciation: em-uh-neyt/ एमनेट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: (of a feeling, quality, or sensation) issue or spread out from (a source).
  • Synonyms: issue, radiate, originate
  • Antonyms: absorb, withdraw
  • Usage in a sentence: The waves that emanate from the collision of two black holes should be detectable.

6. Word: Tit-for-tat (जैसे को तैसा)

  • Pronunciation: Tit-for-tat/टिट-फॉर-टैट
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: the infliction of an injury or insult in return for one that one has suffered.
  • Synonyms: avenging, grudging, retailation
  • Antonyms: forgiving

7.  Word: Transgressions (अतिऋमण)

  • Pronunciation: trans-gresh-uh n/ट्रैन्ज़्ग्रेशन
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:

       a. an act that goes against a law, rule, or code of conduct; an offence.

  • Synonyms: misdemeanors, violations
  • Antonyms: obedience, virtues
  • Use in a Sentence: It is under the responsibility brought on by its own transgressions.

8. Word: Prolonged (दीर्घकालीन)

  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Pronunciation: Pro-long-ed
  • Meaning - continuing for a long time or longer than usual, lengthy.
  • Synonyms - continued, delayed
  • Antonyms - shortened
  • Example - They prolonged their visit by a few days.

9. Word: Purported (कथित)

  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Pronunciation: pur-port-ed
  • Meaning: appear to be or do something, especially falsely
  • Synonyms: imply, pretend
  • Antonyms: conceal, deny
  • Usage in a Sentence: The drug manufacturer knows it is against the law to purport claims about its product’s effectiveness. 

10. Word: Foment (उकसाना)

  • Pronunciation: foh-ment/फोमेन्ट
  • Part of Speech: Verb 
  • Meaning: instigate or stir up (an undesirable or violent sentiment or course of action).
  • Synonyms: provoke, incite, stimulate
  • Antonyms: soothe, dampen, ease
  • Usage in a Sentence: He has moved beyond simply trying to foment a revolt.
