8. Word: Savoury (आकर्षक)

  • Pronunciation: sey-vuh-ree/सेवरी

9.  Word: Etched (निक्षारित )

  • Pronunciation: एच्ट/खोदना 
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. to cut, bite, or corrode with an acid or the like; engrave with an acid or the like, as to form a design in furrows that when charged with ink will give an impression on paper.
    b. to produce (a design, image, etc.) by this method, as on copper or glass.
    c. to outline clearly or sharply; delineate, as a person's features or character.

  • Usage in a sentence:  He etched his name on a piece of glass.

10. Word: Cripple (अशक्त बना देना)

  • Pronunciation: krip-uhl/क्रिपल

  • Meaning:
    a. anything that is impaired or flawed (Noun)
    b. a wounded animal, especially one shot by a hunter (Noun)
    c. to make a cripple of; lame (Verb)
