1. Delhi High Court Chief Justice DN Patel to be next TDSAT chairperson
- Delhi High Court Chief Justice DN Patel has been appointed as the Chairperson of Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) for 4 years
- He will succeed Justice Shiva Kirti Singh.
- His tenure shall be governed by Tribunals Reforms Act, 2021 and Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021

- Aim: to adjudicate disputes and dispose of appeals protecting interests of service providers and consumers of the telecom sector

2. Indian Navy successfully test-fires extended range BrahMos attack missile
- Indian Navy has successfully test-fired a long-range version of the BrahMos cruise missile on from the stealth destroyer INS Chennai.
- Objective: to demonstrate the accuracy of an extended-range land-attack Brahmos supersonic cruise missile.
- The missile hit its intended target with pinpoint accuracy with long-range precision strike capability.
- BrahMos: Supersonic cruise missile manufactured by an Indo-Russian joint venture.

3. HANSA-NG successfully completes sea level trials at Puducherry
- India’s first indigenously developed Flying Trainer ‘HANSA-NG’ has successfully completed sea-level trials at Puducherry from 19th February to 5th March.
- It has been designed and developed by CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
- HANSA-NG was flown from Bengaluru to Puducherry, covering a distance of 140 nautical miles in 1.5 hours at a cruising speed of 155 km/hr

4. Manindra Mohan Shrivastava appointed as Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Cou
- Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court by President Ram Nath Kovind.
- President appointed senior-most Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice under Article 223 of the Constitution of India.
- He will succeed Akil Abdulhamid Kureshi.
- Prior to Rajasthan, he was heading the Tripura High Court.

6. Prime Minister inaugurates Pune Metro Rail Project
- Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has inaugurated 12km stretch of Pune Metro Rail Project.
- Pune Metro Rail Project has been built at a cost of Rs 11,420 Crore.
- It will have 30 stations.
- Pune Metro: First metro project in India to have Aluminum body coaches, indigenously manufactured under the Make in India policy of GoI.
- He also unveiled the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the premises of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

7. Nitin Chugh appointed as Deputy Managing Director of SBI
- Nitin Chugh has been appointed as the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of the State Bank of India (SBI) to drive digital banking operations.
- His tenure will be of 3 years.
- He is a former Ujjivan Small Finance Bank CEO.
- He has also served as Group Head of Digital Banking at HDFC Bank
- SBI is an Indian Multinational, Public Sector Banking and Financial services statutory body, which is considered as largest bank of India

8. Mithali Raj becomes first woman cricketer to appear at 6 Cricket World Cup
- Indian women cricket team captain Mithali Raj (39 years) has become the first woman to appear in six World Cups.
- She is the only third cricketer overall to play six world cup after Sachin Tendulkar and Javed Miandad.
- Sachin is the only Indian cricketer to feature in six World Cups
- She has played in ICC women’s cricket world cup events in 2000, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2017 and now in 2022.
- 2022 edition of ICC women’s cricket world cup is being held in New Zealand.

- Union Minister Jitendra Singh will inaugurate 3-Day symposium on ‘Imagining India@2047 through Innovations’ at the IITM Research Park, Chennai.

10. Paytm partners with IRCTC for unreserved and platform tickets
- Paytm has partnered with IRCTC to provide digital ticketing services to consumers through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM) installed at railway stations.
- It is the first time that Indian Railways is providing a digital payment option for providing ticketing services through UPI on ATVMs
- QR codes can be scanned on ATVMs installed at railway stations
- Paytm Passengers have multiple payment options like Paytm UPI, Wallet, Postpaid (Buy Now, Pay Later), etc
