The PFRDA Assistant Manager selection process consists of three levels: Phase 1, Phase 2 and Interview. These are further followed by the final stages of document verification and medical examination.
A candidate must thoroughly know the PFRDA selection process to perform well in the exam. The Phase 1 exam comprises an online test with two papers having multiple choice questions on various subjects. The same goes for the PFRDA Phase 2 exam, which also contains an online test with two papers.

PFRDA Assistant Manager Selection Process 2022
PFRDA, or the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority, selects eligible candidates through a three-tiered process. The complete process is undertaken in an online mode. Interested candidates must promptly apply online for the PFRDA recruitment process to have a hassle-free process.
Candidates need to clear through all three stages of the PFRDA Assistant Manager selection process to be eligible for selection. The three stages of the selection process are as follows:
- Phase 1 – Online exam having two papers carrying 100 marks each
- Phase 2 – Online exam having two papers carrying 100 marks each
- Phase 3 – Interview
PFRDA Assistant Manager Selection Process: Phase 1
The PFRDA Grade A Phase 1 exam is qualifying and has 200 marks. But, the candidates must clear this stage to advance to the second stage of the Mains examination. The total duration allotted for the Preliminary exam is 140 minutes. The candidates should gather complete information on the PFRDA Grade A selection process and get acquainted with all the subjects and the marks allotted to each section.

PFRDA Assistant Manager Selection Process: Phase 2
The next stage after clearing the Phase 1 exam is the PFRDA Grade A Phase 2 exam. This stage holds an increased weightage as it plays a major role in the candidates’ final selection. Phase 2 of the PFRDA exam also comprises two papers carrying 100 marks each. Refer to the table below for more details.

PFRDA Assistant Manager Selection Process: Phase 3 (Interview)
After clearing both the stages of the online examination in the PFRDA selection process, the candidates will have to appear for the third phase, the Interview round. Candidates will have the choice of choosing the medium of the interview as either Hindi or English. The interview will carry a weightage of 15%.
PFRDA Grade A Reserve List
In the order of merit, PFRDA will create a reserve list of 10 candidates for each vacancy in a specific stream for a 1-year duration. Under unforeseen circumstances, if a previously selected candidate fails to join within the assigned period or resigns during the probation period, that vacated seat will be offered to another candidate on the reserve list. The offer will be made to the candidate belonging to that specific stream.
PFRDA Grade A Probation Period
After completing the PFRDA Assistant Manager selection process and getting recruited to the position of Assistant Manager in Grade A, the candidates will go through a probation period of 1 year before their final appointment.
The final appointment will only be made on successful completion of the probation period and verification of character and antecedents by the respective authorities.
