NABARD Development Assistant Educational Qualification

– Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

– should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

– should possess the knowledge of computer.

– should have the knowledge of the local language of the state applying for i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language.

– Candidates of the ex-servicemen category should have rendered at least 15 years of service. Should hold a graduation degree with a min. of 50% in aggregate or pass Class 10 or its equivalent.

Development Assistant (Hindi)

– Candidates should hold a graduation degree from a recognized university.

– should have studied English and Hindi subjects OR

– English as the medium of instruction level with Hindi as a compulsory subject OR

–  studied Hindi as the medium of instruction at the Graduation level with English as a compulsory subject OR

– should possess knowledge of computer.

NABARD Development Assistant Age Limit

The concerned department has prescribed a certain age limit for the NABARD Development Assistant to apply for the examination. Candidates fulfilling the criteria shall only be considered eligible for writing the examination. The detailed information on the NABARD Development Assistant age limit is herewith:

  • Candidates’ age should be in between 18 years and 35 years.
  • Their date of birth should not be earlier than 01 August 1981 and should not be later than 31 July 1997.

NABARD Development Assistant Age Relaxation

The relaxation in the upper age limit has been prescribed in the NABARD Development Assistant eligibility criteria. Candidates belonging to the reserved category shall be eligible for age relaxation as mentioned in the official notification.

Widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re‐married

By 10 years

Ex‐Servicemen

Additional period of 3 years, subject to a maximum of 50 years, to the extent of service rendered by them in the Armed Forces.

Candidates who generally have Domiciled in Kashmir bifurcation of the state of Jammu and Kashmir between 1 January 1980

and December 31, 1989.

By 5 years

Candidates should note that cumulative age relaxation will not be available either under the above items or in combination with any other item.
