Bank of India Security Officer Recruitment 2020: Important Date

Bank of India Security Officer Vacancies 2020

Bank of India has released a total of 21 vacancies for the post of security officer and fire officer. There are 20 vacancies for security officer and only one vacancy for fire officer. Check the number of vacancies in details.

Eligibility Criteria for BOI Security Officer

1. Citizenship or Nationality

• Candidate must be a citizen of India
• A subject of nepal or Bhutan
• a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
• Any person of India origina who has migrated from different countries like Pakistan, burma, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, with a view to seetling in India.

Age Limit

• Candidate must be of 25 Years (Minimum Age)
• He must not be more than 40 years in age
• He must not have been born earlier to 02.11.1980 and not later than 01.11.1995 (Both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification

• He must be Graduate
• Certification course in Computer is compulsory of minimum three months OR information technology related papers as one of the subjects in graduation level or aftre it.

Work Exprience/ Experience Required

• The candidate should be an Officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force
• The candidate should be a police officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police with minimum 5 years of Service
• The candidate should be of the rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with minimum five years’ service in Paramilitary Forces.

Bank of India Security Officer Selection Procedure

• Selection procedure may involve personal interview and group discussion
• If there is no GD, then selection will be on the basis of Personal Interview.
• Maximum marks for interview will be 100
• Candidates from the General/EWS Category must score 50 % marks to qualify in the interview roun
• Whereas, 45% for SC/ST/OBC category candidate.

If both PI & GA are conducted

Maximum Marks for Group Discussion will be 30 and minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS and 35% for SC/ST/OBC category (out of 30 marks). Candidates who will secure minimum marks as required in GD will only be called for the interview round.

The weightage (ratio) of Personal Interview and Group Discussion will be 70:30. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in PI and GD together.

Candidates must submit the application fee after registration process. Remember no application shall be considered without the payment of application fees.

BOI Fire Officer Scale II Eligibility Criteria

Age as on 01.11.2020

Minimum age. : 25 years

Maximum age. : 35 years

The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1985 and not later than 01.11.1995 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualification

Computer Certificate/Requirement: A certification in computer course for minimum three months OR Information Technology or related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level or afterwards, is a must for all candidates.

Selection Procedure
