RBI Security Guard Notification 2021: RBI has released the recruitment notification for the post of Security Guard. A total of 241 vacancies have been notified in the RBI Security Guard Notification PDF 2021. Ex-servicemen candidates are eligible to apply for RBI Security Guard from 22nd January to 12th February 2021 in online mode only.

Only male ex-servicemen are eligible to apply for the RBI Security Guard post. The eligibility criteria required for RBI Security Guard are as follows:

Educational Qualification for RBI Security Guard

• You should be at least 10th pass from a recognized State Education Board or equivalent.
• The Ex-servicemen who have passed the qualifying examination from outside the recruitment zone either before or after leaving the military service are also eligible.

Age Limit for RBI Security Guard

• The normal age limit of 25 years (28 years for OBC and 30 years for SC/ST as per category relaxation provided by the Government of India) as on January 01, 2021, is further relaxed to the extent of the number of years of service in Armed Forces plus 3 years subject to the maximum upper age limit of 45 years. 
• The upper age limit of 45 years is uniformly applicable to candidates belonging to all categories inclusive of reserved candidates

Other Eligibility Criteria Requirement

• Only the ex-servicemen who have proper military background are eligible to apply for RBI Security Guard 2021.
• The candidates should have experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military.
• You should be a resident of the State/UT that comes under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruitment Office to which you are applying.

The RBI Security Guard selection process involves two different stages which are: online written test and physical test.

• The selection for the RBI Security Guard will be made through an online written examination.
• The candidates who will secure the cutoff marks will be called to appear for the physical test that will be qualifying in nature.
• Once the above two steps have been completed, a merit list will be released on the basis of the marks obtained in the online examination.
• The candidates whose names appear in the merit list of RBI Security Guard will be called to appear for the document verification (DV), biometric verification, medical examination, and any other procedure decided by the RBI.

• Register yourself by providing your name, email ID, Contact number.
• In the next step, upload your photograph and signature.
• Once you have registered yourself, you will receive a registration number and a password on your email ID and contact number.
• In the next step, complete the application process for RBI Security Assistant by providing your personal details, educational details, work experience, exam centre and other details.
• Validate your details and make the payment online.
• Take a print out of the application form for RBI Security Guard 2021.

After being appointed as an RBI Security Guard, your basic salary will be  Rs.10940/- per month in the scale of 10940-380 (4)-12460- 440(3) -13780-520(3)-15340-690 (2)-16720- 860(4) – 20160 – 1180 (3)- 23700 (20 years). At present, the initial monthly Gross emoluments for Security Guards in RBI is approximately Rs.27,678/- including House Rent Allowance @ of 15%.
