3. Interview

Candidates shall be selected through a selection process consisting of the online exam (objective + descriptive) followed by Personal Interview.

4. Final Merit List

The final list of Indian Manipal PO is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the online test & interview. The weightage ratio of the exam & interview is 80:20 respectively.

Indian Manipal PO Program at Manipal School of Banking

  • The selected students will go through a nine-month Course (Campus programme) at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking, Bangalore followed by a three months internship at any of the Indian Bank Branches.
  • The Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) would be a one-year programme comprising of four trimesters. First three trimesters would be conducted at IBMSB,  Bangalore. The fourth trimester would be devoted to internship to be pursued by the participant at designated branches of Indian Bank.
  • On successful completion of the programme, a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking and Finance will be conferred on the participant by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (deemed to be  13 University registered under UGC).
  • All the candidates who complete the ―POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BANKING AND FINANCE are awarded the Diploma will be eligible for appointment in JMG I as Probationary officers in Indian Bank. 
  • After being appointed as PO in JMGS-I in Indian Bank and can be posted anywhere in India as per Banks discretion.
