FOR GENERAL STREAM

The second phase of selection under the GIC Assistant Manager recruitment involves group discussion and interviews. Only the candidates shortlisted in the online examination will be called for the interview and group discussion round.

The final merit list for GIC Assistant Manager recruitment 2021 will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination along with group discussion and Interview at the official website of GIC.

The minimum qualifying marks in GIC Assistant Manager 2021 exam for different categories under each phase are as follows: -

• Minimum qualifying marks for the online test
  • 60% for General & OBC
  • 50% for SC /ST
• Minimum qualifying marks for the overall selection process (online test, GD, and Interview)
  • 60% for General & OBC
  • 50% for SC /ST.

• The selected candidates have to undergo a minimum probation period of four years including a probationary period, failing will have to pay liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s gross salary paid to him/her during the year of probation.
• Candidates resigning from the Corporation during the probationary period shall be liable to pay the salary received by them during their entire period of service in the Corporation in addition to an amount equivalent to the cost of training incurred by the Corporation in respect of the candidate.
