Name of the scheme | Objective | Few Points to remember |
Antyodaya Anna Yojana | The objective is to target poorest of the poor population and provide them relief from hunger | - It includes poorest of the poor from amongst the BPL families covered under the Targeted Public Distribution System within the States
- The scheme provides them food grains at the rate of Rs.1/ per kg for coarse grains, Rs.3/ per kg. for rice, and Rs. 3/ per kg for wheat.
- Intended beneficiaries: Households headed by widows or terminally ill persons/disabled persons/ persons more than 60 years of age and persons with no assured means of subsistence or societal support.
- It is a part of NFSA (National Food Security Act), and the households under AAY are entitled to 35 Kg of foodgrains per household per month
- States/UTs are required to bear the distribution cost, including a margin to dealers and retailers as well as the transportation cost

Integrated Management of the public distribution system | The aim is to implement nation-wide portability in food grains distribution | - It is a central sector scheme
- It is in continuation of complete computerization of PDS operations to bring more transparency and efficiency in the distribution of food grains

Targeted Public Distribution system | The objective is to identify the poor households and giving them a fixed amount of food grains | - It is implemented under the joint responsibility of the Central and the State government
- Central Government responsibility includes procurement, allocation, and transportation of food grains to the designated depots of the Food Corporation of India
- State Government is responsible for the operational responsibilities for allocation and distribution of food grains to the eligible beneficiaries
- The state fixes the end price after taking into account margin for all the expenses

Price Stabilization fund | The objective is to mitigate volatility in the prices of agricultural produce | - The fund was set up in 2014-15 under the Department of Agriculture, cooperation and Family Welfare and transferred to Department of Consumer Affairs from 1st April 2016
- It is a central sector scheme
- The fund will be managed by Price Stabilization fund management committee
- Small Farmers Agri-business consortium can act as a fund manager

INGRAM | The scheme aims to create awareness, advise and redress consumer grievances | - Integrated Grievance Redress Mechanism portal will act as a central registry to file consumer complaints
- The scheme will also bring all the stakeholders together on a single platform
- It provides the facility of registering online grievances which will be redressed within 60 days
