Important points to follow

1) Mock Tests: Attempting mock test is the most important part of your preparation. Attempt at least one full-length mock test on every 3rd day. Analysis of mock tests is very important. Analyze your strong and weak points. Sharpen your strong areas and work on your weak points accordingly.

2) Keep an eye on your level of preparation: Keep on analyzing your level of preparation from time to time. Do not just study without assessing your level of preparation. Mock tests are the best tool to help you in this. Understand how much you are improving on particular topics. Devise a proper strategy and keep working on this.

3) Make a habit of making notes: Make notes of important formulas, short tricks. Whenever you identify a new concept or logic to solve some particular questions, note it down. This will help you a lot during the last days before the exam.

4) Give preference to quality, not to quantity: Candidates are often confused with the selection of books. There are so many books available in the market for every subject. Study 1 standard book for each subject, but study it thoroughly. You do not need to study and solve questions from each and every book available in the market.

5) Work on your speed and accuracy: Accuracy is the key to success in competitive exams. Never compromise with accuracy. Guesswork can give you 1-2 marks sometimes. But most of the times it leads to negative marking. Apart from accuracy, speed is another most important factor in competitive exams. You can increase your speed in a particular section by practising it every day. There is no other alternative to work upon speed except regular practice.

6) Solve the previous year question papers: Previous year questions help a lot in getting familiar with the exam pattern and questions. Also, if you solve previous year papers, you will be able to cover most of the concepts of each topic.

7) Believe in yourself and Be positive: Nothing will work if you are negative. If you have studied well, there is nothing to worry about. Have faith in yourself and your capabilities. Remember believing in yourself is the first step to success.

The pain you feel today is the strength you will feel tomorrow. For every challenge encountered there is an opportunity for growth.
