The West Bengal Public Service Commission has conducted the WBPSC WBCS Mains Examination on the 20th, 21th ,22th& 24th of May 2022. Before starting the study of any exam, it is important to study the question papers of the previous year of that exam. After qualifying for the WBPSC WBCS Main Examination, the candidate will be eligible for the next stage, i.e. for the personality test. WBCS WBPSC WBCS 2022 Exam Pattern

• There are a total of six compulsory papers in the WBCS mains examination in which language paper one is descriptive while all other papers are objective in nature.
• There are two optional descriptive papers. Each has 200 Marks.
• For each incorrect answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted from the obtained marks.
• The WBCS Main Examination has a total of 1600 marks and 200marks for the Group A and Group B Post and 150 Marks for Group C and D in Personality Test .
