RJS Eligibility Criteria 2022! Rajasthan High Court released the revised eligibility criteria for the civil judge exam. Interested candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before filling their application or start to prepare for the exam. RJS Eligibility Criteria 2022

The Rajasthan Judicial Service eligibility criteria are set up by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Rajasthan Judiciary Service (RJS) is a state-level competitive exam for law graduates to apply for a legal position in the Judiciary system of Rajasthan. To attend this exam, there are specific criteria and rules that a candidate needs to be eligible for.

The RJS application for the Civil Judge posts can be processed if a candidate satisfies the criteria to write the exam.  We have provided all the criteria like age limit, educational qualification, nationality, and minimum percentage required for the various stages.

Given below is the Rajasthan High Court Civil Judge Eligibility 2022.

Nationality

The candidate must be a citizen of India to be eligible. Foreign nationals and NRIs are not applicable to apply for the exam. 

Rajasthan Judiciary Age Limit 2022

Age limit is the basic criteria to be eligible for any competitive exam. For the Rajasthan Judiciary Service Exam, the following is the age limit: 

  • The minimum age required for the candidate to be eligible for the exam is 23.
  • The maximum age limit applicable for the Judiciary Service exam is 35.

If a candidate belongs to a certain category like ST, SC, OBC, physically handicapped, or ex-servicemen, then age relaxation is provided to such candidates. 

The following gives the upper age limit for the exams as per the category

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 5 years
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years
  • Women: 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 5 years
  • Physically Handicapped:10 years

RJS Educational Qualification 2022

Qualification is another criterion for candidates to be eligible for the Judiciary Exam. If the qualification criteria are not met, then the applicant cannot fill the application form for the exam. Following is the required education qualification for the Rajasthan Judiciary Exam:

  • Candidates must have an LLB (Degree of Law) or similar equivalent degree of graduation from a recognized bar council university or from the government.
  • A candidate is expected to have a good character to apply for the Rajasthan High court Civil Judge. 
  • A candidate applying for the Judiciary exam will require three-character certificates: One from the principal academic officer where you last attended or from the dean of your college, the remaining two from the responsible people and should not be related to you.

Rajasthan Judicial Service Mains Minimum Qualifying Marks

The interview is the final phase for the Rajasthan Judicial Service Exam. To be eligible for an interview given below are the criteria:

  • A candidate can qualify for an interview if they score an aggregate of 40% marks in the main exam and 35% in every law paper. 
  • Candidates in other categories like ST, SC, OBC, to be eligible for an interview, need to score 35% aggregate in the main exam and 30% in every law paper. 

The above-mentioned eligibility criteria are everything required for a candidate to apply for the Rajasthan Judiciary Service exam. 

RJS Prelims Minimum Qualifying Marks

Even if you were able to submit an application for the Judiciary service exams, that does not complete the process. One needs to clear the exam with a minimum score to be eligible for the final interview process. Following are the criteria to be eligible for mains exams:

  • For candidates in the general category, they need to score a minimum of 45% in the preliminary exam.
  • For candidates in other categories like ST, SC, OBC, the minimum marks required are 40%.
