Selection Process
The Punjab Police Head Constable selection process involves the following stages of examination:
The selection process for Punjab Police HC is done through the following 4 stages:
1. Written Test: This will be a computer-based test (CBT) comprising of two papers: Paper 1 & Paper 2. Both the papers will be conducted on the same day.
2. Document Verification (DV): All your documents, such as, marks sheets, caste certificate (if any), etc will be verified
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Qualifying in nature
4. Physical Screening Test (PST): Qualifying in nature
Punjab Police HC exam will have two papers, paper 1 & paper 2.
- The written exam will be held in online mode only.
- The Punjab Police HC paper will be set in both English and Punjabi languages.
- The duration of each paper, i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2 will be 2 hours.
- Each paper will have 100 questions.
- Each paper is of 400 marks, thus, the total paper combined is of 800 marks.
- Each correct answer will fetch you 4 marks while an incorrect answer will lead to a penalty of 1 mark.
