UPPSC Assistant Professor Syllabus & Exam Pattern: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the subject wise syllabus for Assistant Professor. UPPSC invited application for 328 Vacancy for Assistant Professor in colleges.  UPPSC has released the syllabus of all 19 subjects.

  • The syllabus of Paper-2 UPPSC Assistant Professor is General Studies.
  • 30 questions from this section will be asked in the examination.
  • General studies comprise of History, Geography, General Science, Polity, U.P G.K, Current affairs and more.

UPPSC Assistant Professor Exam Pattern 

UPPSC Assistant Professor exam will be conducted on 17th April 2021 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m in Praygraj and Lucknow. The total duration of the examination will be 2 hours. There will be no negative marking.

UPPSC Assistant Professor Exam pattern is into three papers. The first paper is subject-specific and the second paper is general studies and is common for all candidates. The interview will follow the written test. The candidate will be selected on the basis of the final merit list prepared by combining the written test and interview.

  •  Interview:
  1. The weightage of the interview will be specified later. After the written test the merit list for shortlisted candidates will be updated on the official website www.uppsc.up.nic.in 
  2. UPPSC will prepare the final merit of the applicants after the interview.
  3. The number of candidates called for an interview will be 3 times the number of posts specified in that category.

UPPSC Assistant Professor Exam Pattern for Maths

  • The exam pattern of maths is different from the rest of the subjects.
  • Here 100 questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Paper-1 is subject-specific. This is of 70 questions.
  • Paper-2 is General studies. This is of 30 questions.
  • Total Questions- 100.
  • Total Marks- 150.
