What are Mind Maps?

A mind map is a type of structure. It's a method of assisting you with organizing, visualizing, and summarising. Its aim is to make it easier to store information on a single file. Having a mind map will make studying and revising certain subjects faster and more interesting. Mind maps may be created by hand or with the help of a computer program.

How to Make Mind Maps?

Let us learn step by step to make mind maps:

  • Step 1: Write down all the important information that you want to remember on the blank page
  • Step 2: Identify the Main Idea or topic on which the whole concept is based. Write in the big font you can write in the middle too. (Refer to the Image)
  • Step 3: After that try to categories the information into sub-headings under which the remaining information can be written. These sub-headings should be various aspects of the main idea which would help in understanding the main concept.
  • Step 4: The information, which has been written under sub-headings, would be explaining the sub-headings in detail.
