The KAS is the Kerala Administrative Service Exam. It is a state-level examination. It is an exam held in Kerala to recruit graduates to second-class gazetted posts of Kerala Government Service like deputy collector, deputy director of National Savings, Special Industries Officer, etc.

Kerala Administrative Services (KAS) has three stages of the recruitment process. The Kerala Administrative Service Selection process begins with the online application through the official Kerala PSC website. After successfully submitting the KAS Online Application, aspirants will be invited for the prelims exam. Students who passed the preliminary exam are qualified for writing the Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) Mains exam. Then it was followed by the Interview; the various stage of the Kerala Administrative Service recruitment process involves:
