DSSSB 2021 TGT Eligibility Criteria (Revised): New Age Relaxation for Women

• B.A. (Honours) in one of the Modern Indian Language (MIL) concerned or B.A. with MIL concerned as one of the elective subjects from a recognized university having 45% marks in aggregate with one additional language or one school subject* at degree level OR
• An equivalent oriental degree in MIL concerned from a recognized university having 45% marks in aggregate. OR
• Sahitya Rattan of Hindi Sahitya Sammelan Prayag having secure at least 45% marks in aggregate with English in Matriculation.

(ii) Degree/Diploma in teaching

(iii) Knowledge of Hindi is essential

(iv) Should have qualified CTET 

Note: The candidate should have studied the subject concerned as mentioned in the RR for at least 2 years during the Graduation course. The elective word may also include the main subject as practised in different Universities.

• A Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University secured 45% marks in aggregate, in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level:-
  A. English
  B. Mathematics
  C. Natural/Physical Science
  D. Social Science

Note: Main Subjects for TGT(Natural Science/Phy. Science) shall be Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Zoology.

(ii) Degree/Diploma in Training Education

(iii) Working knowledge of Hindi

(iv) Should have qualified CTET

• A Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University secured 45% marks in aggregate, in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level:-
  A. English
  B. Mathematics
  C. Natural/Physical Science
  D. Social Science

(ii) Degree/Diploma in Training Education

(iii) Working knowledge of Hindi

(iv) Should have qualified CTET

• A Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University secured 45% marks in aggregate, in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level:-
  A. English
  B. Mathematics
  C. Natural/Physical Science
  D. Social Science

Note: Main Subjects for TGT (Social Science) shall be History/Political Science/ Economics/ Business Studies/ Sociology/ Geography/ Psychology.

1. Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/University.

2. Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than two years of B.Ed. (Nursery) from a recognized institute.

3. Must have passed Hindi at the Secondary Level.

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in elementary education from recognized Board. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in elementary education following the NCTE regulation-2002. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary education (B.El.Ed). OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognized Board. OR
• Graduation and 2 years Diploma in elementary education from a recognized Board.

(ii) Should have Pass in the CTET.

(iii) Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at the Secondary Level.

(i) 12th Pass with 50% Marks from a recognized Board.

(ii) 2 years Diploma in primary education/ certificate course in ETE/ JBT/ DIET/ B.El.Ed from a recognized institution.

(iii) Must have passed Hindi as a subject in 10th Class.

(iv) Should have passed in CTET

(v) Desirable: Computer Knowledge
