Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released the BSSC CGL exam pattern 2022 along with the official notification. The candidates appearing for the BSSC CGL exam for 3rd Graduate level exam must go through the detailed paper pattern and marking scheme that is explained here. BSSC CGL exam pattern for prelims is going to have questions based on General Awareness, General Science and Mathematics and Mental Ability. The prelims is for 600 marks with each subject being of 200 marks each. The candidates who qualify in the first round shall be called for the next round. BSSC CGL Mains exam pattern shall have questions from General Awareness, General Science and Mathematics and General Hindi. General Hindi shall carry the maximum weightage in the Mains exam for 400 marks while other subjects shall be for 200 marks each. BSSC CGL Exam Pattern for Mains

Candidates who will qualify the first stage of the BSSC CGL exam shall be called for the Mains exam. Thus, it is essential for the candidates to know about the BSSC CGL Mains exam pattern to qualify the exam. BSSC Mains shall have two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2.   • BSSC CGL Mains Paper 1 has subjects that include General Hindi. Paper 2 has three subjects that include General Studies, Reasoning Ability, General Science, and Math.
  • Each paper is for 2 Hour 15 Minutes.
  • Both the papers of BSSC CGL are to be held on the same day.
  • Every correct answer bring you 4 marks while an incorrect answer will lead to deduction of 1 mark.
  • BSSC 3rd CGL exam for paper has 100 questions while Paper 2 shall havr 50 questions for every subject.

BSSC CGL Document Verification 2022

BSSC CGL document verification round is the last round of the selection process. The candidates who follow BSSC CGL preparation tips are called to appear in this round. Candidates while going to the exam are advised to carry the following set of documents with them:

  • BSSC CGL application form 2022
  • Government-issued valid id proof (Adhaar card, Pan card)
  • Academic Certificate (class 10, 12 mark sheet, Graduation mark sheet)
  • Caster certificate issued by authorities
  • Category certificate issued by competent authorities
  • NOC from previous employee
  • Physical fitness certificate

BSSC CGL Exam Pattern

  • BSSC CGL exam pattern 2022 consists of Prelims and Mains exam for the 3rd CGL exam. Prelims exam has 3 sections that include, General Awareness, General Science and Mathematics, Comprehension/ Logical Reasoning/ Mental Ability. BSSC CGL exam pattern for Mains has Hindi, General Science and Math, Reasoning, and General Studies.   • As per the marking scheme of the BSSC CGL exam pattern for Prelims, 4 marks shall be assigned to the correct answer and 1 mark shall be deducted for the wrong answer.

  • As per the BSSC CGL prelims exam pattern 2022, three subjects shall be asked in the exam viz. General Studies, Comprehension/ Logical Reasoning/ Mental Ability, and General Science and Mathematics.

  •  The exam duration of the BSSC CGL prelims exam is going to be 2 hours and 15 minutes. Candidates will have to attempt all the questions within the given hour. No extra time will be given.

  • According to the  BSSC CGL exam pattern for Mains, the exam shall have subjects that include, General Hindi, General Awareness, General Science, and Mathematics. General Hindi accounts for maximum marks of 400 marks while other subjects are for 200 marks each.

  •  The minimum qualifying marks for the BSSC CGL mains exam are going to be  40% marks. If they belong to the unreserved category, 36.5% for backward class, 34% and 32% marks for OBC and SC/ST/Women category.
