BSSC CGL admit card 2022 has been released by BSSC for the exam that is going to be held on 23 and 24 December 2022. BSSC CGL exam shall be conducted in two phases, Prelims and Mains for which the exam date has been released. Thus, the candidates who have successfully applied for the BSSC CGL exam should rely on only revising the syllabus and practicing questions to excel in the exam. 

BSSC CGL 2022 notification was released by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) on 6th April 2022. BSSC released the BSSC CGL 3 notification for the recruitment of graduate candidates of any discipline into the various departments of BSSC. A total of 2248 (revised) BSSC CGL vacancies for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Planning Assistant, DEO, Auditor, and Secretariat Assistant. Candidates who hold the required eligibility criteria could apply online from 14 April to 1 June 2022 (new). The selection for BSSC CGL recruitment shall be done through Prelims and Mains exam.

BSSC CGL 2022 Notification

BSSC CGL 2022 notification has been officially released by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (Bihar SSC) under adv. no. 01/22. Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized university can apply for BSSC CGL recruitment from 14th April 2022 to 1 June 2022 (revised) in online mode through the BSSC website. Through the BSSC CGL exam, BSSC shall appoint 2248 vacancies for the post of Planning Assistant, Malaria Inspector, Secretariat Assistant, DEO and Auditor posts. A competitive exam for BSSC CGL 3 shall be done through the Prelims and Mains exam.

What is BSSC CGL Exam - Full Form

BSSC CGL stands for Bihar Staff Selection Committee Combined Graduate Level Examination (BSSC CGL). BSSC CGL is a great career scope for the candidates who are graduates in any discipline. Bihar SSC CGL Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed their graduation from any recognized university in any stream. No minimum percentage is required to apply for BSSC CGL exam.

BSSC CGL Recruitment 2022 Selection Process

BSSC is the body that is responsible for carrying out the selection process for BSSC CGL recruitment 2022. The BSSC CGL selection process is done through two main stages, Prelim and Mains. Earlier, an interview used to be conducted, however, the interview process has now been removed. Further, there shall be a physical eligibility test for the posts of Police Sub-Inspector, Enforcement Sub-Inspector, Company Commander, Fire Station Officer, and Assistant Tax-Collector. In case a candidate has applied for these post, then he/she will be eligible to appear for it.

Stage 1, Prelims exam: BSSC shall hold the Prelims exam only if the number of applications received is more than 40,000. In such a case, Prelims shall be held in multiple shifts.

Stage 2, Mains exam: BSSC shall conduct the Mains exam for those who will qualify Prelims will appear for Mains.

BSSC CGL Recruitment 2022 Exam Pattern

BSSC exam pattern is stated below for the Prelims and Mains. The interview process has been removed. BSSC CGL Prelims exam is the first stage of the selection process. As per the BSSC CGL notification, if the number of applications is more than 40,000 then only the Prelims will be conducted.
